Much love, much respect...

Ladies, I can not tell you how much I appreciate you for going out in droves to purchase "Down On My Knees" during the first three weeks of release. Because of your support, I've been asked to do countless radio shows and actually spent an hour this morning with "James T Live" and Tamara G, Miami's News Talk 1080, an extraordinary African American station. And, I still can't get over my air time with Montgomery's hit R&B station Hot 105.7 with "Michelle C." If you haven't gotten the book yet, get it this weekend so you'll know what black women throughout the country are talking about.

Much Love and Respect,

Victor

Amazing Read!, May 31,2006
R. A Rippy "rarippy" (Shelbyville, Tennessee United States) - Victor has done it again with this great story! This story is a great read for any woman who is struggling spiritually with finding their soul mate and letting go physically and letting God have his way in his time. All good things happen in time if you are willing to be patient and believe in him. Thanks Victor for another great book!

A
lways a reader "A A Reader" (Florida) -This is an excellent book for women who are struggling with their spirituality and their desire to be loved. So many of us have been where this book takes us.

Shay C "PeoplewholoveGoodBooks" Grace Hillard is a single mom to her 13-year old son and an successful advertising executive at the top of her game. While she's always the bridesmaid but never the bride, she appears to be content with her life--thanks to a couple of a flings. Yet one day, Grace begins to feel that something is missing from her life. A man to call her husband and a father for her son. After talking to an elder member at her church and her lovers, she decides to "let" go, focus on her relationship with God, and become celibate. Of course, nothing in life comes easy and she soon comes to struggle with her decision but Grace is determined until she meets Wallace Peters, her son's teacher. And if that isn't enough to deal with, after missing in action for 13 years, her son's father reappears and that sets off a chain of events that will forever change Grace and her son. Down On My Knees is the story of one woman's spiritual journey to not only find her faith but ultimately herself. It is a book that will appeal to EVERY reader whether you love Contemporary, Urban, or Christian Fiction. I give this book 4 stars. Reviewed by Shay C of PeoplewholoveGoodBooks.

'Phenomenal' March 16,2006
"XBC" "Xpressions Book Club" (Dallas, TX) - Victor McGlothin has raised the standard for Christian Fiction. "Down On My Knees" is a spiritual awakening that explores the naked truth about Sex, Celibacy, and the Single Sistah. This novel is exactly what Black women are looking for to war against carnal demons that frequently sabatoge our relationships, hopes and dreams of marriage. "Down On My Knees" is christian fiction at it's best.
